KUNSTLOGEN BERGEN NORWAY

Welcome to the premiere of the new fine craft, visual art and design exhibition in Bergen, Norway! On Saturday and Sunday 27-28 June 2015, 40 artists will present or perform in this curated exhibition. Find POAST amongst the artists inside the beautiful Logen Theatre at Øvre Ole Bullsplass 6 in the center of Bergen this weekend.

Fine craft in ceramic, wood, metal, and textile; fine art paintings, prints, and woodcuts; wool and porcelain installation art; fashion and jewelry design; a street walk, special guest and performance artist Kurt Johannessen; and more. GALLERI VOX EXHIBITION

Galleri Vox has invited me to submit three art pieces for the 2014 group exhibition, "30 x 30." The show will feature works by 50 Bergen artists, with a total of 150 small works for sale. A portion of the sales will benefit artists with disabilities who have a nice opportunity to work in the studios hosted by Galleri Vox. DARK NORDIC WINTER

The dark nordic winter is almost upon us, with days of rain and wind and waterfalls rushing down the mountains surrounding our city. I have holes in both my rainboots, but I can't keep from smiling as I lean into the gusts of wild wind and leaf-filled streams filling the streets. My little Scandinavian houses are wrapped with shadows as they look out the studio window at Ulriken mountain.
